Broadway is Broadway, sure, but if "the play's the thing," well you can have a pretty good time here in Buffalo. Anthony and Peter both thoroughly enjoyed IN THE HEIGHTS at Musicalfare and NEWSIES at Shea's. But those are only two.
Three musicals close this weekend: ANNIE GET YOUR GUN at Ellicott Creek Playhouse, GRANNYBIRD at the Alleyway, and NEWSIES. Three other musicals run into next weekend - CARRIE, THE MUSICAL (A.R.T. at Medaille College), IN THE HEIGHTS, and A LITTLE NIGHT MUSIC at the Irish Classical. And next week FORUM opens at Buff State as does NOBODY'S INN at the Woodbox in Niagara Falls.
