The Road Less Traveled Theater opens another show in its season Friday night, unsure how long it will be in its longtime home in the Market Arcade Film and Arts Center.
City Hall sold the building to a developer when its operating and budget problems became too much. RLTP still operates in the building because it has a lease.
Artistic Director Scott Behrend says the theater company is moving ahead with planning next season, without knowing where it will be for Curtain Up! 2015. He says the city has been very supportive as RLTP makes decisions about its future.
Behrend says there is another possible site, but it's not definite.
"We are in the midst of searching for our new home, which we've been working on the past few months. Yeah, we may end up staying in the Market Arcade Film and Arts Center longer than May."
Behrend says there is the possibility of a temporary home as it looks for a home for perhaps the next 25 years. RLTP is one of three local theater companies looking for a new stage home.
