Actor William Fichtner reflects on career success

Omar Fetouh/WBFO News

There exists quite a list of people who have called Western New York home and gone on to success in Hollywood. Among them is William Fichtner, who recently played Butch Cavendish, the nasty villain in the 2013 film The Lone Ranger. Fichtner has starred in The Dark Knight, Armageddon, Black Hawk Down, and the HBO series Entourage, among many other projects. He has a new role as the Shredder in the new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles film.

William Fichtner, who grew up in Cheektowaga, stopped by the WBFO studio this week for a chat with Pat Feldballe.

Pat is a member of the Buffalo Broadcast Hall of Fame. He hosts WBFO's Weekend Blues Show from 7-11 p.m. Saturday and 7 p.m. to midnight Sunday.
