Takac is founder and president of Music is Art.   Music is Art was created to expose people throughout our community to the art of music.

Takac says the event will feature over 100-bands playing all types of music, artists and dance.

"We're going to start going through all the submissions, putting together what I am sure is going to be the best year yet," said Takac.

The festival will cost roughly $120,000, but Takac says they are working to raise the needed funds. They've set up an Indigo Go account to raise funding.

"It's a pretty big undertaking.  You know this started out in the driveway of my studio," said Takac.  "It's pretty exciting. It is a lot of production.  We had 11 stages last year. We will probably have 11 stages this year."

The festival is free to the public and will take place behind the Albright Knox Art Gallery at Delaware Park.
