Pianist Boyd Lee Dunlop to be inducted into Buffalo Music Hall of Fame

Buffalo pianist Boyd Lee Dunlop wowed music lovers around the world last year with the release of his first recording -- Boyd's Blues -- at the age of 85.   The CD charted on billboard and was critically acclaimed.

Thursday evening Dunlop and his brother, Frankie, will be honored with their induction into the Buffalo Music Hall of Fame.

WBFO & AM-970's Chris Jamele spoke with Dunlop about his music, his brother and the legacy that his induction represents.  Life and time have softened Dunlop's dynamic voice.

Boyd Lee and Frankie Dunlop will receive the President's Award tonight at 7 p.m. at the Buffalo Music Hall of Fame Gala at The Tralf.

Saturday & Sunday 6 a.m. to 12 p.m.
