Inspired by St. Francis: Francis, The Holy Jester

WBFO News photo by Eileen Buckley

St. Bonaventure University is celebrating the Feast of St. Francis with some special events.  Tuesday evening  Italian stage star Mario Pirovano will perform Francis, The Holy Jester by Nobel Prize winner Dario Fo.

St. Bona philosophy professor Dr. Michael Chiariello traveled to Italy where he convinced Pirovano to perform his internationally acclaimed one-man show in the U-S.  He agreed.

WBFO & AM-970's Eileen Buckley had the privilege of interviewing Pirvoano just hours after arriving in Buffalo to discuss his North American tour.

Pirovano performs Francis, The Holy Jester for St. Bona students Tuesday afternoon at 3 then at 7:30 p.m. for the public.  The show is free, but seating is limited.
