An agreement to construct a new stadium for the Buffalo Bills was announced Monday, and leaders negotiating the deal say it’s a good one that keeps an important economic generator in Western New York. Local advocates are pushing back on Governor Kathy Hochul’s proposed changes to bail reform, suggesting she’s giving in to “fear mongering.” The state’s budget deadline is Friday, and as WBFO Albany correspondent Karen DeWitt reports, the issues are less about spending and more about policy.
