Bono's new memoir 'Surrender' details his long career in music and activism

By any measure, U2 is one of the world's biggest bands, and lead singer Bono is one of music's biggest stars. He's telling his own story in a new memoir, "Surrender: 40 Songs, One Story." Bono sat down with PBS NewsHour's Jeffrey Brown to talk about it. This is part one of that interview for our arts and culture series, "CANVAS."
