Jamestown police are investigating a fatal car-pedestrian accident.Police say 69-year-old Margaret Thorn of Jamestown died at WCA Hospital soon after arrival after being transported from the accident scene. Preliminary investigation indicates an eastbound vehicle struck Thorn as she was crossing West Third Street at Lakin Avenue yesterday afternoon. Police say no charges are expected to be filed in the case.
