An early morning blaze at the 3M plant in the Town of Tonawanda sent alarms to several local fire companies.
The fire was reported at around 3 o'clock Saturday morning and was quickly extinguished. Workers were evacuated and sprinklers were triggered when a machine caught on fire.
The building itself was not affected but an estimate on the damage to the machinery was unavailable.
