The Biggest Loser is here

A weight-loss resort inspired by the television show The Biggest Loser is coming Western New York. 

Snyder Corp. announced Friday that they will be partnering with NBC Universal Television Consumer Products Group and Fitness Ridge Worldwide to build The Biggest Loser Resort Niagara in Java, New York.

The Java facility will be the third Biggest Loser fitness resort to be built in the country. There are resorts in Malibu, Calif., and Ivins, Utah.

The fitness resort will have deluxe cabins, a spa, swimming pool, hiking trails and fitness complex. People of all ages will can go to the resort for group fitness training and education on how to get healthy and stay healthy.

Biggest Loser contestant Hannah Curlee said the secret to weight-loss having a will for change and asking people for help.

"For anyone at home thinking I could never do what they did or I could never do what she did, that's who I was. Just a year ago I was at home watching The Biggest Loser watching these people thinking to myself that looks horrible, I could never do that, I could never change, I could never loose hundreds of pounds, but that's just not true. If I can do this absolutely everyone can do this, it's true." said Curlee.

Curlee said making small changes throughout the day will make a huge difference.

Snyder Corp. executive vice president of marketing Sandra Schoellkopf  said it doesn't matter what size you are when you come in we are going to help you.

"It's an emersion program so you book it by the week. You come out to our facility and you stay the week, your price includes deluxe room accommodations, a full day of fitness that starts at 6 a.m., a variety of exercise classes all day long, two hours of health and wellness lectures and within that week you can really make those life changing transformations." said Schoellkopf.

Schoellkopf said you will leave feeling a difference.

The Biggest Loser Resort Niagara is set open May 2012.
