Over the weekend, the first ever SantaCon was held in Buffalo and organizers are deeming it a "great success".
Nearly 200 Santas, reindeer, elves gathered to show their holiday cheer exactly one week before Christmas and help collect toys for the needy.
The Santas appeared in downtown Buffalo including Niagara Square where they stood on the steps of City Hall and then held a friendly takeover of Occupy Buffalo.
Food trucks also participated from R&R BBQ, Whole Hog, Rollling Joes and Roaming Buffalo. They donated ten percent of their proceeds to the Black Rock Boys and Girls Club.
50 toys were collected also for a toy drive.
