Buffalo's international population is on the rise as more and more refugees emigrate into the U.S.
Thursday evening the International Institute hosts "Buffalo without Borders". The event is designed to celebrate the Bhutanese, Burmese and Iraqi cultures.
WBFO'S Eileen Buckley sat down with the leader of the Institute and a local immigrant about what it is like for refugees adjusting to life here in the Queen City.
Buffalo without Borders fundraiser takes place at Asbury Hall from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. featuring international traditions of food, music and dance. You can learn more about the event at www.buffalowithoutborders.com/.
