Buffalo, NY – Buffalo Police are searching for the driver of a fatal hit-and-run-accident that occurred early Sunday morning.
Police released the identify of the victim. 48-year-old April Smith of Buffalo died after being hit by a pick-up truck on the 1100 block of Broadway. Smith was declared dead at the scene. An autopsy on Smith has been completed. She died from trauma to head and neck.
Investigators say city cameras captured video footage of the truck, which appeared to be green.
