Amherst, NY – Ceremonies were held Friday to inaugurate Satish K.Tripathi, PhD, as its 15th president of the University at Buffalo.
The event was held at UB's Center for the Arts on the North Campus in Amherst.
Special guests included State University of New York (SUNY) Board of Trustees Chairman Carl T. Hayden and SUNY Chancellor Nancy L.Zimpher. Hayden and Zimpher invested Tripathi in his new office, and presented him with UB's silver presidential medallion.
