Buffalo, NY – Medaille College celebrated the grand opening of their Student Success Center Friday.

The college added a $3.4 million addition designed to bring all the support staff into one building.

Medaille College President Richard Jurasek said the success center encompasses the college's mission, giving the proper support to students to yield better academic results.

"The student success center is premised on the idea that a concentration of services that help students succeed in class, out of class, a concentration of these services will get more students to graduation," said Jurasek.

Medaille Senior Brad Davies said having everything in one area is convenient and makes it easier to get work done.

"It's a larger space that we have to work with now and it's much better for students to work more efficiently. All the services are located in one area and you can hit all the things that you really need to in one spot," said Davies.

The center brings together tutors, the library and counselors all in one area for students.
