Buffalo, NY – Friday night is the 30th season of Curtain Up, and another bountiful season of theatre in Buffalo. There are nearly two dozen productions. And a bounty of talented local actors will bring those productions to life.

Believe it or not, some of that bounty is concentrated in one family.

All five members of the Jakiel family are actors - Mary McMahon and Steve Jakiel and their daughters Kelly, Amy and Laura.

WBFO's Joyce Kryszak talked with Steve, Kelly and Amy who are all happen to be starring in Curtain Up productions. Steve and Kelly are in 42nd street at the Kavinoky and Amy in is Oliver at Musicalfare.

Steve said they consider themselves very fortunate.

More information about Curtain Up productions is available atTheatre Alliance of Buffalo.
