Buffalo, NY – One of deadliest prison uprisings in U.S. history ended at the Attica Correctional Facility in Wyoming County 40-years ago Tuesday.

UB's Law School wraps up a three-day conference titled "40-Years After the Attica Uprising".

WBFO'S Eileen Buckley talked to UB law professor and lead organizer of the event Theresa Miller. The conference looks at lessons learned.

The conference wraps up at 3:30 p.m. Tuesday afternoon in UB's Student Union Theatre at O'Brian Hall where New York State Department of Corrections Commissioner Brian Fischer will deliver the keynote address.
