Buffalo, NY – South Buffalo native James T. Molloy has died in Rochester at the age of 75. Molloy was the former doorkeeper of the House of Representatives, who publicly introduced the President six times.

Molloy, a one time Buffalo firefighter, was good friends with the late NBC news correspondent Tim Russert, also from South Buffalo. A few years ago, both men shared stories with NPR's Story Corps project.
