Buffalo, NY – Rich Products, which is now doing business all over the world, recently expanded its global presence in India, one of three booming global markets.

They shared their story with invited guests interested in learning how to boost their presence on the global scene in an event hosted by the World Trade Center Buffalo Niagara.

Rich Products has just opened a new manufacturing facility in India. Jim Bailey, director of business development for Rich's international group, said the company has been a global player for quite some time.

Those markets now cover every continent on the planet except Antarctica. India is just one of three booming global markets the World Trade Center Buffalo Niagara is focusing on. China is the second.

The third is Brazil, which is rich in oil, ore and other raw materials and, with the World Cup soccer tournament and Olympics soon coming there, is also an emerging tourist destination.

But does global expansion pose a threat to Western New York's workforce?

Chris Johnston, president of the World Trade Center Buffalo Niagara, said expansion creates jobs elsewhere but can also create job security locally, just like it has at Rich Products.

The presentation was the second in a series of presentations the World Trade Center is hosting on doing business in India, China and Brazil.
