Buffalo, NY – A winter weather advisory is in effect fro Erie, Niagara, Chautauqua, Cattaraugus, and Genesee counties until midnight Wednesday. A winer storm warning is in effect for Wyoming and Allegany counties until midnight Wednesday.
Snow will continue to last until mid-evening when it finally beings to taper off. It is causing difficult driving conditions, with slick spots.
Steve McGlaughlin, at the Buffalo Airport Weather Station in Cheektowaga, tells WBFO News the arrival of the snow had forecasters making some overnight changes.
Snow fall amounts vary across the region. Buffalo received 4.9 inches, and up to eight inches of fell in Olean.
