Winter weather advisory for much of region

Buffalo, NY – Rainy weather will be turning back into a wintry blast. The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Weather Advisory.

...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM 1 AM TO 7 PM EST SUNDAY...

THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERICE IN BUFFALO HAS ISSUED A WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY FOR SNOW...WHICH IS IN EFFECT FROM 1 AM TO 7 PM EST SUNDAY. THE WINTER STORM WATCH IS NO LONGER IN EFFECT.

* LOCATIONS...THE NIAGARA FRONTIER.

TIMING...EARLY SUNDAY MORNING THROUGH EARLY SUNDAYEVENING.

* HAZARDS...SNOW.

* ACCUMULATIONS...UP TO 2 INCHES OVERNIGHT AND 2 TO 5 INCHES SUNDAY...LEADING TO STORM TOTALS OF 3 TO 6 INCHES. * WINDS...NORTH 15 TO 25 MPH.

* VISIBILITIES...AS LOW AS A HALF MILE AT TIMES.

* TEMPERATURES...FALLING TO THE UPPER 20S OVERNIGHT. HIGHS IN THE MID 20S SUNDAY.

* IMPACTS...SLIPPERY SNOW COVERED ROADS AND REDUCED VISIBILITIES. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS.
