Buffalo, NY – During a news conference at HSBC Arena concerning the sale of the Buffalo Sabres, outgoing managing partner Larry Quinn was asked about his future plans, including his involvement with other projects in Buffalo.
Quinn told reporters: "As far as my future plans I don't have any. There's lots of things that I wanted to do, places in the world I want to see, and I'm going to spend a lot of time doing that."
Quinn, who is leaving the Sabres for the second time, first rose to prominence in the 1990's as the City of Buffalo's "point man" in the development and construction of a new building for the Sabres, known then as Crossroads Arena.
