Buffalo, NY – City of Buffalo crews reopened the Stevenson Street bridge along Cazenovia Creek in South Buffalo. It was closed Friday due to ice jams and the threat of flooding.
Flood threat subsides at Sunset Bay Chautauqua County Emergency Services re-opened Sunset Bay and lift alerts.
Sunset Bay fire crews removed large pieces of ice from ice jam flooding along Cattaruagus Creek that clogged some roads. Some Sunset Bay residents were evacuated on Friday due to flooded streets and some downed power lines.
