Buffalo, NY – A suburban Rochester man is accused of threatening to kill former President George Bush. 23 year old Ian Rotunno of Greece was arrested by federal authorities.

The U.S Attorney's office in Buffalo is investigating.

U.S. Attorney William Hochul tells WBFO News a co-worker of Rotunno brought these threats to the government's attention. Hochul says Rotunno made a series of statements threatening the former President.

When authorities caught up with Rotunno for his arrest, they also discovered weapons and other materials.

In a sworn affidavit a psychiatric physician described Rotunno as the "next Oklahoma City Bomber. Hochul said a threat to kill a former president carries up to ten years in prison.

Rotunno is also charged with attempting to retaliate against a former U.S. Official. Rotunno remains in custody and is scheduled to appear in federal court for a bail hearing November 15th.
