Buffalo, NY – This morning WBFO news continues its partnership with other media outlets to more deeply explore local issues. For this month's Roundtable discussion of suburban issues, WBFO's Joyce Kryszak sat down with Bruce Andriatch, Suburban Editor and columnist for the Buffalo News. Andriatch said consolidation is still the hot button issue. Now, the controversy has extended to a proposal to merge fire companies.
He talks with Joyce about that after a quick recap on village consolidation. August votes are now set to decide the fate of the villages of Sloan and Williamsville. Andriatch said regionalism guru Kevin Gaughan isn't happy about that.
