Buffalo, NY – As a cost cutting measure, the United States Postal Service is considering the elimination of Saturday delivery service.
Buffalo will be one of seven sites nationally for public hearings on the concept. Those hearings will be held in City Hall on the afternoon of June twenty-eighth.
Postal worker unions are arguing that significant parcels and dated mail require maintaining Saturday service.
Anyone wishing to speak at the hearing must contact the Postal Regulatory Commission.
