Buffalo, NY – Mayor Brown has nominated James Comerford to become the Commissioner of Permit and Inspection Services.
Comerford has served as deputy commissioner for the department and has overseen recent efforts to streamline the processes handled by the office.
Comerford could face confirmation hearings with the Common Council as early as this week.
