Buffalo, NY – There is a special message to pay tribute to South Buffalo native Patrick Kane.

Steelworkers constructing the new Kaleida Health heart and vascular institute next to Buffalo General Hospital wrote the Chicago Blackhawk hockey star a message for his Stanley Cup win.

The steelworkers painted the words "(Buzz) Pat Kane Wins Stanley Cup". It's located on the 6th floor steel beam of the building.

Buzz was Kane's childhood nickname. Kaleida says many of the steelworkers working on the project are South Buffalo natives.
