Buffalo, NY – Crisis management at the world's largest toy maker was the topic of a keynote address at Wednesday's UB Partners Day in downtown Buffalo. Former UB graduate James Walter was the feature speaker. He is a senior vice president for worldwide product quality, safety and regulatory compliance at Mattel. Walter talked to WBFO'S Eileen Buckley about how Mattel faced a huge toxic toy scandal in 2007 when it was forced to recall almost one million Chinese-made toys laced with lead.
