Animal cruelty charges filed against farm owner

By Chris Jamele

Buffalo, NY – The owner of Eden Farms has been charged with animal cruelty after one of the biggest round-ups of large animals in the area.

Seventy-three horses, along with numerous cats and dogs were removed from the farm in March. The SPCA has announced that Beth Hoskins has been charged with ten misdemeanor counts of animal cruelty. Hoskins will be facing the possibility of a year in jail and a one thousand dollar fine for each count.

Her lawyer claims that his client is maintaining her innocence.
