Buffalo, NY – An area daycare provider was convicted late last week on charges of operating a fraudulent business.
Twenty-seven year old Olga Casiano is facing a possible twenty-eight year prison term after being found guilty on fifteen counts, including falsifying billing and business records and grand larceny. The Buffalo News reports that Casiano was receiving county funds for the Mother's Touch daycare center in Cheektowaga.
The Erie County Social Services office is demanding that Casiano pay thirty-three thousand dollars in restitution and that the state's licensing requirements be reviewed.
