Swine Flu Still Spreading Across New York State
By Chris Jamele
Buffalo, NY – New York state remains among the diminishing number of states where widespread outbreaks of the swine flu are still occurring. Further outbreaks are expected to occur in January, February and March.
This is leading state health officials to urge residents to get vaccinated against the flu.
Commissioner of the State Department of Health, Dr. Richard Daines, reports that more than half of the state's counties are reporting cases of the swine flu. He also states that supplies of the vaccine are available and that no one should have trouble getting inoculated.
