Final Training Push is on for Buffalo Olympic Bobsledder

By Joyce Kryszak

Buffalo, NY – Native Buffalonian and Olympic bobsledder Steve Mesler has been pushing himself toward Olympic gold his entire life. Now, the pusher for the Unites States Olympic bobsled team is looking for a push from the community to help pay for his rigorous training. Mesler will be in Buffalo Tuesday night for a hometown fundraiser at the Irish Center from 6:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M. WBFO's Joyce Kryszak talked with Mesler from Lake Placid during a rare break in his training.

Donations to Mesler and the bobsled team also can be made on line at Steve Mesler or at Buffalo Slides for the Gold.
