By Eileen Buckley

Buffalo, NY – Last December we introduced you to local book author Joan Lorch Staple. She wrote about living in Germany during the Holocaust years as a young girl. It reflected on the Nazi regime that stripped her father from his top management job. The family fled to England. Staple recently sat down with WBFO'S Eileen Buckley to talk about her second book, Change and Challenge: My Life After Thirty.

86 ear Joan Staple is not your average senior citizen. She is a retired research biologist from Canisius College and remains very active. Staple helps teach some learning programs at a retirement community in Williamsville where she lives with her husband, Peter. Staple writes, edits and publishes her own books. Her latest book traces her life from London to Buffalo.
