Buffalo, NY – Jim and Tony check out some of the nominees for this year's Artie awards, which will be presented June first at the Town Ballroom. Still ongoing is Bada Bing! Bada Boom!, extended AGAIN at MusicalFare Theatre, while the Kavinoky presents The Farnsworth Invention, the story of the man who invented television. The Theatre of Youth musical Go, Dog, Go is at the Allendale Theatre, The Green Pastures continues at TheatreLoft, while Kingfish, Amos n' Andy is soon closing at the Paul Robeson Theatre. Buffalo United Artists celebrates its new space on Chippewa Street with a staged reading of Terrence McNally's The Ritz, and The Learned Ladies (which includes WBFO's Kelli Bocock-Natale), is closing at the Irish Classical Theatre's Andrews Theatre.
