Buffalo, NY – Jim and Tony open this week's Theatre Talk with a remembrance of Buffalo playwright Rebecca Ritchie, who died last week after a battle with cancer. We learn that there's a revival of Souvenir, with Mary Kate O'Connell as Florence Foster Jenkins, playing this weekend at the Riviera Theatre in North Tonawanda. Bada Bing! Bada Boom! has been extended at MusicalFare Theatre, the Kavinoky presents The Farnsworth Invention, the story of the man who invented television, and Jim goes to the dogs, at the mention of the Theatre of Youth musical Go, Dog, Go at the Allendale Theatre. Other ongoing productions are The Green Pastures at TheatreLoft, Kingfish, Amos n' Andy at the Paul Robeson Theatre, and The Learned Ladies, which includes WBFO's Kelli Bocock-Natale, at the ICT's Andrews Theatre.
