Buffalo, NY – A Kentucky woman fighting for workplace safety reforms will be appearing in Cheektowaga Tuesday night at the Buffalo AFL CIO meeting. Tammy Miser lost her brother in an explosion inside a manufacturing plant in 2003. WBFO'S Eileen Buckley talked to Miser about workplace deaths.

Miser is the founder and president of United Support and Memorial For Workplace Fatalities. The Buffalo AFL-CIO and the Western New York Council on Occupational Safety and Health invited her to speak to a local audience. Tuesday night's event begins at 7:30 p.m. at the Hearthstone Manor on Dick Road. It is free and open to the public.
