Buffalo Board of Education Elections

By WBFO News

Buffalo, NY – Tuesday is election day for the Buffalo Board of Education. The board's three at-large seats are being contested.

The incumbents, Catherine Collins, Christopher Jacobs, and Florence Johnson, are all seeking re-election. They're seen as supporters of schools superintendent James Williams.

Challengers John Licata, Rosalind Hampton and Bryon McIntyre are running as a team and are more critical of the superintendent. Other candidates in today's election are Patricia Devis and Rebekah Williams.

Polls are open until 9pm.
