Mayor Reacts to Governor's Low Ratings

By Eileen Buckley

Buffalo, NY – Voters are not very high on a Governor David Paterson running for election.

A Quinnipiac University poll released Monday says 53% of registered voters believe Paterson should NOT run for election. Only 39% believe he should run. 63% of New York voters believe Paterson does not deserve to be elected to a full four year term.

Buffalo Mayor Byron Brown says tough budget decisions are no doubt the reason for the poll results.
