Small Plane that Departed Buffalo Crashes in Illinois

Buffalo, NY – A small plane that took off from the Buffalo Niagara International Airport crashed in Illinois. According to a published report in the Wall Street Journal, two people were killed in the crash.

The plane crashed around 9 p.m. Thursday. The Federal Aviation Administration says the crash occurred at the Joliet Regional Airport, a suburban of Chicago. The FAA and National Transportation Safety Board are investigating the cause of the crash.
