Buffalo, NY – Tops Friendly Markets customers will soon see coffee and donuts from Tim Hortons at area stores.
Chief executives of the two companies announced a strategic partnership Tuesday -- a deal which has been in the works for more than six months.
Tops President Frank Curci says his company was looking to enhance its product offerings.
"Our goal as a locally focused company has been to partner with other local companies to bring products and services that our customers demand," Curci said. "This partnership with Tim Hortons certainly meets those goals -- the marriage of two strong brands which are leaders in their market areas."
All 82 Tops locations in New York will feature either full-service restaurants or self-service kiosks.
