Bills in Toronto to Play the Steelers

By Mark Scott

Toronto, Ontario – A new era begins for the Buffalo Bills in Toronto Thursday night. The Bills will meet the Pittsburgh Steelers in the first of eight games to be played at the Rogers Center over the next five years.

Wednesday's Toronto "Globe and Mail" had a story about the lack of buzz surrounding what the newspaper describes as an "overpriced exhibition" game. About two thousand tickets are still available.

The Bills arrived in Toronto late Thursday afternoon. Wide Receiver Lee Evans says he's excited.

"I think Toronto is a great city," Evans said. "I come up here for leisure. I think it will be a lot of fun. The people here are excited about it."

The kickoff is at 7:30. Even though tickets are still available, the game will be televised by Channel 7.

The Bills will play a regular season game in Toronto against Miami in December.
