Buffalo, NY – Thirty years after Love Canal, the University at Buffalo's Regional Institute has released a report on the ongoing environmental burden facing Western New York.

The report finds that there are close to 600 sites in the region that are being monitored in the region by the US Environmental Protection Agency.

The policy brief, titled "Thirty Years from Love Canal,," was put together by the Regional Institute's policy analyst, Peter Lombardi. He joined us on the phone Wednesday to talk more about it.
