Buffalo, NY – Thousands of Western New Yorkers packed Delaware Avenue in downtown Buffalo for the 25th annual Taste of Buffalo.
A large crowd was already in place as the Taste opened at 11 a.m. Saturday.
Many lined up to purchase their tickets and begin tasting the many culinary delights served up by area restaurants. Items ranged from bourbon skewed shrimp to tenderloin sandwich to mango smoothies.
Close to 60-vendors line Delaware Avenue and Niagara Square. Once again this year healthy options are also available. For those 21 and older, this year's Taste also features wine tasting.
Taste of Buffalo judges rated the food and wines at the start of the event. Judging ends at 2 p.m. Saturday.
The Taste of Buffalo continues through 9 p.m. Saturday and reopens at 11 a.m. Sunday. The Taste closes at 7 p.m. Sunday.
