Agreement Reached to Resolve Lynch Case

By Eileen Buckley

Buffalo, NY – Buffalo Bills running back Marshawn Lynch is expected to appear in court next week.

Erie County District Attorney Frank Clark says his office reached an agreement in principal. Lynch is expected to plead guilty to an unspecified charge stemming from a hit-and-run accident involving his S-U-V.

An Ontario woman was injured in the accident.

Clark says the plea is based on the fact Lynch was driving the car. But Clark would not elaborate on the details of the deal.

Clark says there was another person in the car with Lynch. The accident happened at Delaware and Chippewa downtown three weeks ago.

A grand jury was scheduled to begin hearing testimony in the case Friday. Several Bills players and front-office employees had been subpoenaed to testify.
