Nothing Resolved in Short Meeting in Lynch Case

By WBFO News

Buffalo, NY – Prosecutors in the District Attorney's office met for a short time Monday with the attorney representing Buffalo Bills running back Marshawn Lynch.

At issue is an SUV owned by Lynch that struck a pedestrian at the corner of Delaware Avenue and West Chippewa Street in the early morning hours of May 31st. After a meeting that lasted only a few minutes, Lynch's attorney, Michael Caffery, said nothing was resolved.

If it's determined Lynch was driving the vehicle, he could be charged with a misdemeanor count of leaving the scene of an accident.

Meanwhile, Lynch confirmed to the Associated Press yesterday that he had laser surgery on his eyes last Friday. He was back at Bills practice Monday, but did not participate.
