Suspended Buffalo Cop Running for Senate

By Eileen Buckley

Buffalo, NY – Suspended Buffalo Police detective Dennis Delano has launched his first ever political campaign.

Delano is running for the 58th state senate seat currently held by incumbent Democrat William Stachowski. Delano is considered a hero by some for his work on the City's Cold Case squad. It led to the exoneration of Anthony Capozzi and also freed Lynn Dejac from jail in the death of her daughter. Delano says he wants to be elected to the senate to use his investigative skills to find out why Western New York is short change in Albany.
