Members of the Buffalo Philharmonic Chorus perform Verdi?s \"Requiem.\"

By Jim Santella and Anthony Chase, WBFO

Buffalo, NY – This week, Jim opens with a discussion about the Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra and Chorus presentation of Verdi's Requiem, based on World War II concentration camp performances of the work. The rest of the show looks at several local comedies, including the Irish Classical Theatre's Charlie's Aunt, the Tennessee Williams play Rose Tattoo at TheatreLoft, and A Picasso featuring Lisa Ludwig as a Nazi bureaucrat. Also, as several local officials end several days of living at the poverty level, the Subversive Theatre Collective is staging a presentation of Nickel and Dimed.
