Buffalo, NY – A West Side community project is offering solutions to the rising cost of food and energy.

The Massachusetts Avenue Project wants to create a Community Food Resource Center on Buffalo's West Side. The organization, known as MAP, emerged as the big winner this week capturing a $100,000 grant from the 21st Century Fund.

MAP was one of four finalist that vied for the Fund sponsored by the Community Foundation of Greater Buffalo.
